Here at Bedlam Hats, we are trying to be more sustainable and eco friendly, so all high end hats like this one, will use 100X Nutria. This has all the same wonderful benefits, fit, and feel of a 100X Beaver hat, but the Nutria is currently considered an invasive species. Instead of being bred for hats, these are caught in the wild and removed to help the eco system. Since they are being killed, this is using a resource that is going on a sustainable, don’t waste approach than a farmed animal. Feels more humane and it will be the only Fur Felt we use here. In a driftwood color, this is smooth, water repellant, and could last a lifetime. With recycled/upcycled burlap and scrap leather to make the hat band, some authentic iron coffin nails, a llama comfort band and fancy leaf styled silk liner, this hat is stylish and a dream. Size 58 means it fits be perfect and if I had the right headshape, I would rock this.
